De-Stress Exercise Mini De-stress
Step 1. Three sighs.
Breathe deeply into your diaphragm. You need to see your stomach (not your chest) expand with the breath.

Step 2. Concentrate on your breath.
As you breathe in say to yourself “Let”.
As you breathe out say “Go”.
Repeat 10 - 20 times.

Full De-stress
Sit in a seat that gives good back support and allows you to comfortably put both feet flat on the ground. Rest your hands on your thighs with the palms facing up.
Close your eyes.
If you are outside, take your shoes off and feel the earth with your feet. If you are in bed, lie on your side and imagine that you are sitting in a chair.

Step 1. Three sighs.

Step 2. Let/Go breathing (about 20 or until you feel centred).

Step 3. Visualise your crown chakra opening up. Take in white light through the crown chakra. Visualise the white light slowly descending through your body. As the light passes through, notice where you are holding your tension and let the tension go. Take the light all the way through to the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. Imagine your tension being released through your palms and feet. Give your tension a colour that you can visualise easily (for example- grey). Visualise it floating away through the air and being taken away from you by the earth or floor.
